When it comes to collecting Funko Pops there are different variations, and sometimes fans become entranced by certain ones. Whether you are someone who adores glow in the dark Pops, or simply an avid chase lover, there are often certain variations that seem more appealing to each collector. Metallic variants are often rather expensive versions of Pops, and seem to be a rarer commodity. You don’t find a lot of metallic Pops, oftentimes they are chases or convention exclusives. Flash

This metallic Flash is actually a chase variant of the common figure. It is worth almost $150 and continues to maintain that rather high value. For any Flash fans it is an extremely desirable figure, especially with that gorgeous red metallic shine.

Beerus

This metallic version of Beerus is definitely a valuable and extremely desirable figure. It was released in 2016 exclusively to SDCC, and was immediately a piece that everyone wanted to get their hands on. It is now valued at close to $200, and certainly is not decreasing.

Dr. Doom

Exclusive to Bangkok Comics this rare metallic Dr. Droom figure is valued at around $230 and continues to climb. Acquiring a Dr. Doom Pop at all is certainly challenging, but this amazing metallic variant is definitely a hard snag. The metallic shine definitely adds a sense of realism to the Pop, making it a truly incredible and desirable figure.

Red Hulk

This metallic Red Hulk is valued at around $270 with an edition size of 480. It is definitely a desirable collectible for Marvel fans, with an awesome metallic shine that is hard not to drool over.

Dumbo

Dumbo has a few rather pricey variants, one that is even higher than the metallic version. This metallic variant however, is pretty dang pricey settling at close to $300. Another SDCC exclusive, fans of Dumbo would be more than ecstatic just to get a look at this gorgeous figure.

This metallic Deadpool is an SDCC exclusive with an edition size of 480. It is now valued at almost $300, and is certainly a pricey piece. Boo Berry

The ad icons are already extremely valuable figures, but the metallic variants are definitely wanted. This specific figure is worth around $350 and is definitely hard to come by. Franken Berry metallic is also rather pricey being valued at over $300.

This metallic Winged Monkey is worth around $350, and is definitely a desirable figure for any fans of the Wizard of Oz.

Wicked Witch

Going along with the other metallic variants of the Wizard of Oz, this piece is certainly pricey. It sells for over $360 and is a limited edition piece.

With an edition size of only 480, this SDCC exclusive is definitely one of the more pricey figures. For any Ghost Rider fans it is an incredibly desirable piece, unfortunately it will cost a pretty penny. It is worth over $420, an is definitely hard to get your hands on.

Alien

Many Disney fans find themselves obsessed with the adorableness that is the Alien’s from the claw machine. This figure is worth around $480 and was another SDCC exclusive.

The Amazing Spider-Man

This amazing Spider-Man metallic variant is valued at around $600, and is definitely a crazy valuable figure.

Nightmare Before Christmas 3-Pack

This 3-pack includes Jack, Sally and Oogie Boogie, all shinning in a metallic coating. It was released to the D23 Expo with only 500 ever made. The value of this 3-pack continues to increase over time, now reaching around $650 and climbing.

Genie

With an edition size of only 480, this SDCC exclusive figure is extremely valuable. It is certainly one of the highest valued Disney figures, and one of the highest valued Pops entirely. It can sell for around $750, sometimes higher depending on the seller. Being that so few were ever made this amazing metallic Genie is extremely hard to find, even if you have the insane amount of cash to spend on him.

The Thing

This metallic variant of the Thing is valued at around $780 and continues to climb in value. It is definitely a desirable figure, especially with the incredible shine of the metallic.

Spider-Man

With a value of almost $800, this is one of the priciest Spider-Man figures on the market. The metallic version definitely makes it expensive, but the small edition size of 480 adds to that value.

Batgirl

This metallic Batgirl is actually a chase variant, and sells for over $860.

Captain America

This metallic Captain America is worth almost $1,000 and has an edition size of 480.

Elvis

With this metallic version of the King you will definitely be dipping into your deep saving. It is valued at around $1,200 and continues to be on the biggest grails out there.

Most of us consider the main items, packing your clothes appropriately, your toothbrush, extra underwear- all of the important things. While we know the basics there are often smaller drug store items that we don’t even consider the possibility that we may end up needing them. These are often things tied specifically to your needs during your Disney vacation, so it is important to consider the uniqueness of your Disney trip.

Many of these basic items because rather expensive once you enter Disney grounds, so it is best to get them beforehand. It becomes a bit of a damper to forget certain items and have to spend a lot of extra money because you cannot go without what you need. Purchasing a few things ahead of time can really benefit you and make your trip much more enjoyable. It can be difficult to think of some of these items before the trip, which is why we have decided to help you by compiling a list of items we find very beneficial.

 

Band-Aids

It happens, you trip and fall or have some sort of a small accident. Finding Band-Aids on Disney grounds can be harder than you might think. Band-Aids can also be good for covering up those small spots on your feet that begin to rub and get raw. It isn’t a permanent fix but it can definitely help ease the discomfort. It is definitely important to keep some extras in your backpack for when you are at the parks.

Ponchos

It can be nice to have a blanket that you don’t mind getting dirty, since it can be used to grab a spot for the parades. There aren’t many places to sit when the parades start, so having a blanket to place on the ground can make it more relaxing. Usually you’ve already been doing more than enough standing, so being able to sit down and watch the parade from a relaxing spot, is definitely enjoyable.

Handheld Fan

It can certainly get hot depending on what time of the year you decide to visit Disney. When you’ve been walking in the heat all day it does get a little overwhelming, especially if you aren’t from a warmer climate. While the Sega is an older system, these retro games are reaching a new height of popularity. Nostalgic fans are looking to the past to fulfill their gaming desires, and this sudden increase in interested has also cost the price to climb. Some of these games are going up in price, while others were already insanely valuable. Of course any collector or retro gamer knows that a limited amount of something often makes the value go up, especially if people become more interested in these games later on. Some games simply didn’t have many made because people did not appreciate their uniqueness, but they suddenly become pricey when fans find themselves intrigued by these games.

There is also the other option, the games that were not officially released. These hidden gems are games that often should have been recalled and somehow a few got sold, or games that were intended as contest demos and were never meant to be purchased by fans. These are often the most insanely valuable collectible games, and are more expensive simply because they are so rare. Some fans just want to have an item that stands out and hold onto something so crazy valuable. While we did include a couple items on this list which weren’t officially released to the public, we tried to keep it more towards games that fans could have ACTUALLY owned in their collection.

Tetris

Tetris is of course one of the most well-known and popular video games ever created. It is said that Nintendo had some issues with sharing this one another console, and this battle ended in Sega having to completely scrap the issuing of this game. Likely they started production but had to destroy the games they had and a few workers probably smuggled some out. This put a handful of these games into the market, with an extremely high value of around $25,000 for a complete copy.

Blockbuster World Championships II

This competition cartridge had a shortened version of NBA Jam and Judge Dredd to test players skill level. This cartridge was never supposed to be distributed and was meant to be kept out of hands of fans. A few copies slipped through the cracks though, making it a rare and valuable collectors item. With so few available it is very hard, if not impossible, to get a real solid value on this game. It went for auction at around $10,000 but isn’t a game that shows up very often.

Ecco the Dolphin Box Set

This box set version was put together to raise money for a Dolphin named Ecco. It was sold in extremely limited quantities and included more than just the game. It held things like an Ecco t-shirt and a certificate, but there were a few other items as well. The price of this depends entirely on if the set is complete or if it happens to be missing certain items. A full set can sell for thousands of dollars, while one missing items can sell for a couple hundred.

Sonic the Hedgehog

This specific and rare edition features a different cover art, and because of this can sell for extremely high prices. This game sometimes sells for around $500-$700 when it is still factory sealed. Unopened versions of these games always become drastically more valuable, since it guarantees fans a pure collectible game.

Crusader of Centy

This game has an amazing storyline and moral behind it, which was unique for the time. It is highly valuable now not only because it is desirable, but because there was a smaller release number for this game. Princess Heroine and Dog Set

This set was also highly limited to around 250, making it rather difficult to find for a decent price. The entire set can sell for around $800, sometimes more. It features different princesses and heroines with their doggie companions by their side. It is definitely an adorable set, especially for dog lovers.

Maleficent Expressions Set

This set of six pins features various expressions of Maleficent and is limited to only 100. While this set can sell for hundreds of dollars, it is definitely a desirable collection for any Maleficent fans out there. We all know that the villainous sorcerous has many different expressions, which is a big reason this set is such a grail for so many pin collectors.

Princess Floral Fans Set

This set includes 12 Disney princesses on the face of a gorgeous fan with floral designs. They were a limited edition release so the set can now sell for hundreds of dollars online. It is definitely a rare collection and one that might take pin collectors a long time to piece together.

Funko Pop collectors are always on the hunt for the rare and illusive chase Pop. Some variants are higher than others, making those specific chases even more valuable. We always want to get our hands on the more unique figure, the one that not every collector has a chance to snag. Having a chase just makes you feel like you have succeeded as a collector, and you actually possess something a little more special. Any Disney fans who collects Funko Pops obviously wants to snag as many of the awesome and unique chase variations as they can. While some Pop lines don’t create the best variants, the Disney lines always seem to have the coolest Pop figures. We especially adore the glow in the dark variants, because who doesn’t adore a glow Pop?

Instead of just focusing on the rarest and most expensive chase figures, we decided to give you a comprehensive list of the Disney chase Pops that are available. As a Disney collectors I am personally trying to get my hands on each and everyone one of these glorious variants, but some are a bit more challenging to snag than others. Zero (Glow in the Dark)

This original Zero figure from the Nightmare Before Christmas is definitely one of the most valuable Disney chase variants. It features the adorable Zero but in this variation he glows in the dark! It is a pricey figure and not easy to find, but it is definitely worth the cost.

Zero with Bone (Glow in the Dark)

A later release of Zero includes him carrying a bone, and the chase variant is also a glow in the dark figure. This one was released exclusive to Box Lunch, making it an extremely challenging piece to get a hold of.

Maleficent (Glow in the Dark)

The chase variant of Maleficent was certainly a desirable figure during its release, causing collectors to fight one another for it. No joke…it was insane. This figure is a glow in the dark variant of the regular Maleficent, but she was sold exclusively to Hot Topic. This often makes any figure a little rarer, especially when it has a chase version. It is sold with a more limited number seeing as it cannot be sold everywhere, and many people only have one Hot Topic store close to them.

Aurora (Blue)

This dancing Aurora sports a different dress than the common variant, showcasing the classic color changing scene of Sleeping Beauty. The common figure is Aurora in her pink dress, while the chase version is a blue dress. She isn’t one of the higher valued chases, since she is a 1/6 variant. This only makes it easily for collectors to find one, or maybe purchase it from someone for a fair price.

Red Jafar as Genie (Glow in the Dark)

This chase version of Jafar as a genie is a glow in the dark variant of the common non-glow Jafar. While it might be difficult to get the old Jafar, since he is highly valued at the moment. The chase variant of this awesome genie Jafar is definitely not a low valued figure, but it is still within reach. He is definitely one that hit stores with a bang, with fans obsessively trying to get their hands on this awesome figure.

Hercules (Glow in the Dark)

This is definitely a highly anticipated figure, as fans had previously been waiting for a release of Hercules for some time. Funko decided to make a glow variant of the regular Hercules, making it a super cool chase figure.

Hades (Red)

While this release is exclusive to Hot Topic, the common also glows in the dark. This chase glows but what makes it unique is that it is a red variant of the normally blue Hades figure.

Dopey

This Dopey variant is lacking his hat and has a lipstick mark on his head. This is an iconic scene from Snow White, making it a really unique and cool figure.

Yzma (Glow in the Dark)

This glow in the dark variant is definitely a desirable and awesome villain collectible. Yzma from the Emperor’s New Groove is definitely a popular characters, especially for Disney fans.

This 3-pack includes Sora, Goofy and Donald from Kingdom Hearts, and is a glow in the dark version. It was released to GameStop in a mystery box, making it even more difficult to snag the chase version. While it was a 1/4 variant, it still sells for a rather high price, making it a somewhat difficult chase to get your hands on.

Shadow Heartless

This figure is a glow in the dark variation of the common, and is only a 1/6 variant. It isn’t the priciest chase figure, but it is definitely a cool item that many fans would enjoy in their collection.

Tron (Metallic)

This metallic version of the common figure is also a glow in the dark piece. With both a metallic shine and a glow exterior, it is definitely an awesome chase variant.

Sark (Metallic)

This is a metallic variant but also glows in the dark, and had a 1/6 rarity.

Remy (Flocked)

The chase variant of the adorable Remy from Ratatouille, is simply a flocked version. This is actually a really cool way to make a chase, and makes it just a little more special than the common version. Thankfully Remy is not currently a highly valued chase, which means fans can likely get their hands on him without having to spend a small fortune.

Heffalump

This Heffalump chase is simply a purple variant of the regular figure. It is definitely an adorable and thankfully affordable chase.
