All the Exciting New Lands and Rides Coming to Walt Disney World Resort

For Disney goers hearing announcement of new attractions is always and exciting experience. If are someone who enjoys attending the parks fairly often, it is always thrilling to hear that Disney will be adding something new to your experience. While the parks never getting boring, it is still awesome to have new attractions to make each vacation entirely unexpected. Thankfully Disney has announced a handful of new attractions and lands which will be added to their parks within the next few years. While some of these attractions have just recently been announcned, others have been underway for quite some time now. Whether you are someone who enjoys the parks once in a while, or a frequent Disney goer- you will be happy to hear about these incredible new attractions being added to your favorite place on earth.

Toy Story Land

Set to open June 30^th 2018, this is one of the most exciting and highly anticipated additions to Disney World. With the roller coaster entitled Slinky Dog Dash and other child friendly rides, this new land is definitely going to be incredible and immersive. It is one of the most hyped new lands in Disney right now, being that the opening is coming up rather quickly. This will certainly add a lot of excitement to Hollywood Studios, creating an entirely new and incredibly detailed land for fans to enjoy. With all of these new announcement it can be hard to keep track of which ones are being released and how quickly they will be finished. If you have attended to parks recently you have probably seen the closed off new section, which only makes the anticipation more intense.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

This is planned to open in 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and also at Disneyland Park. It will be an immersing and whole new world set in the parks which will definitely be an amazing addition for Star Wars fans. Being that Disney now owns the Star Wars and Marvel franchises, they are pleased to include them in their amazing parks. This is exciting for fans of each franchise, making Disney World an entirely new and broad experience. This new land will feature full-sized fleet of X-Wing Star Fighters, a life size Millennium Falcon and 2 amazing new attractions. One of the attractions gives you a chance to control the Millennium Falcon, while the other puts you smack in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order.

This is definitely a highly anticipated new land which will certainly amp up Hollywood Studios and make it an even more desirable park to attend. Fans of Star Wars and eagerly awaiting the finishing touches of this incredible new land, hoping to see it finished early in 2019.

Stars Wars Themed Hotel

Going alongside of the new Star Wars land at Hollywood Studios, this hotel is incredibly immersive and brings and entirely new experience to your vacation. Instead of leaving that Star Wars reality when you head back to your hotel, the adventure continues beyond the parks. You will be surrounded by Star Wars themes, with a starship that takes you to the new Galaxy’s Edge adventure! This is definitely an awesome concept which will be a must attend hotel for any true Star Wars fans who are eagerly awaiting the new land in Hollywood Studios.

Ratatouille at Epcot

This new Ratatouille themed attraction will be added to the Paris section in Disney. This is certainly an exciting new addition, but we don’t know much more beyond that announcement of the attraction at this point. Being that Paris is already and incredible popular attraction in Disney, this new inclusion will have fans eagerly awaiting its release.

Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction at Epcot

This new attraction is set to be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world! It will be coming to Future World at Epcot, and will certainly add a whole other level of excitement to an already incredible park. We do have to wait some time for this though, seeing as it is set to be finished for the 50^th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

This is actually the first ride to feature the famous Mouse and his loving lady, Minnie. It will be a completely immersive attraction taking guests on a multi-dimensional voyage inside the wild world of Disney’s award winning Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts. This proves to be an exciting new event at Hollywood Studios, which will be expected early in 2019.

Tron Attraction

This is definitely an exciting bit of news, especially since the attraction has done so well in other Disney parks. Tron Experience will come to Disney World Magic Kingdom, near the Space Mountain attraction. This will definitely be something that fans are eager to visit, adding to the list of incredible attractions that Disney is taking on within the next few years.

“Out of This World” Dining

This new table service restaurant will be added to Epcot, just adjacent to Mission: SPACE. This otherworldly dining will take guests through a new experience, dining far above the earth with an amazing view. It definitely adds to the feel of being in space, creating a whole new world and realm of reality. This is just another reason why Disney is such an incredibly magical experience, since it continues to add new ways to feel immersed in another world.
